iPad Data Recovery: How to Recover Lost or Deleted Data from iPad

Part 1: How to Recover Lost Data on iPad 2/3/4 Directly

Step 1. Run the program and scan your device

Now, please connect your device to the computer, and then run the iPad Data Recovery program. An interface will be shown as following. You can see a "Start Scan" button on the main window. When finish connecting your device to the computer, click the "Start Scan" button to scan your iPad. Then a scanning window will quickly appear in front of you.

Step 2. Browse and restore iPad files

Part 2: How to Recover Lost Data from iTunes Backup

Step 1. Select your iPad model

An interface will be present after installing and running the iPad Data Recovery program on the computer. Choose your device icon and go ahead.

Note: When you recover data on your device, do remember not to connect and sync your iPad with iTunes.

Step 2. Choose a recovery mode

Note: In part 1, you need to connect your device to the computer. If you want to recover your lost files from iTunes, you need not.

Step 3. Start scan and pick up your iTunes backup file

Pay attention to this: if you have ever synced more than one iOS device with iTunes on your computer, such as iPad, iPhone or iPad touch, there will be several backup files. Choose the correct one for your device and click "Start Scan" to start to extract it.

Step 4. Recover your iPad data

All the data will be shown in the iTunes backup. Now you can browse and restore your deleted iPad notes, contacts, videos, photos and so forth. Click the "Recover" button to save them on your computer at ease.
